Mission
To promote menstrual health and hygiene among marginalized women, spread awareness, and educate them on proper practices to prevent menstrual-related diseases.
Vision
To become a trusted body where every woman has access to affordable menstrual hygiene resources, knowledge, and support, ensuring their health, dignity, and empowerment.
Objectives
To distribute affordable sanitary napkins, educate women about menstrual hygiene and disease prevention, and expand outreach to empower women across Uttar Pradesh
Suraxa Sanitary Napkins(Samajik Utthan Samiti)
Suraxa Sanitary Napkins is a noble initiative driven by Samajik Utthan Samiti, dedicated to improving women’s health. This concept was envisioned by the organization’s president, members, and like-minded individuals who recognized the urgent need for change. Women in marginalized areas often suffer from diseases and undergo complex surgeries due to improper menstrual practices and lack of awareness.
Suraxa aims to educate women about the importance of healthy menstrual practices, the use of sanitary pads, and maintaining intimate hygiene to prevent menstrual-related diseases. Currently, we are taking small but impactful steps, distributing sanitary napkins and raising awareness in rural areas. Our vision is to expand and reach every needy woman across Uttar Pradesh, ensuring their health and dignity.
What We Do
A shield to protect your health
Real-Time Impact
Together for Safer and Healthier Periods
Samajik Utthan Samiti, through Suraxa Sanitary Napkins, is systematically transforming menstrual hygiene practices for economically marginalized menstruators. Our holistic approach combines awareness, education, and access to affordable sanitary products. This unique intervention delivers fourfold benefits: improved health by reducing menstrual-related diseases, better education by minimizing school absences, empowerment through dignity and self-care, and positive environmental impact by promoting safe disposal practices. Together, we are creating lasting change in the lives of underserved women and fostering a healthier, equitable society.
