Suraxa Sanitary Napkins(Samajik Utthan Samiti)

Menstrual Health Awareness

Suraxa Sanitary Napkins, a project by Samajik Utthan Samiti, aims to raise awareness about menstrual health among women in the underserved areas of Narayanpur, Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. Many women here lack access to information and resources for healthy menstrual practices. As a result, 60 out of 100 suffer from serious diseases related to poor menstrual hygiene. Suraxa focuses on educating women, providing sanitary napkins, and improving overall menstrual hygiene to ensure better health and dignity for women in these communities.

Free & Affordable Sanitary Pads

We manufacture and distribute eco-friendly sanitary napkins to rural women at an affordable cost of 8 pieces for 20 rupees. Additionally, we provide free sanitary napkins to underprivileged and marginalized women. Our initiative also focuses on educating women about the proper usage and disposal of these products, ensuring better menstrual hygiene and awareness. This effort aims to improve health, dignity, and access to essential resources for women in rural communities.

Education On Menstrual Hygiene-Related Diseases

We also educate women about Menstrual Hygiene-Related Diseases, such as UTIs, RTIs, bacterial vaginosis, and TSS. Our initiative focuses on teaching proper menstrual hygiene practices, including the use of clean sanitary products, changing them regularly, and ensuring safe disposal. We aim to raise awareness about these potential health risks and empower women to maintain better menstrual hygiene, improve their health, and prevent infections in rural and marginalized communities.
